Jewish Family Services (JFS) supports and strengthens lives throughout Greater Kansas City. We provide essential human services for people facing challenges in everyday life or times of crisis — regardless of faith, age, culture or lifestyle.

KU Hillel's mission is to connect Jewish students to each other and to their Judaism, to inspire and equip the next generation of Jewish leaders and to build a thriving Jewish community on campus. We are developing Jewish adults. We are delivering the Jewish future.

PJ Library is an international, award-winning program created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation to help families on their Jewish journey. PJ Library shares Jewish culture and values through free, quality children's books that reflect the diversity of Jewish customs. PJ Library is more than just snugly moments with your child at home – PJ Library connects young Jewish families to each other and to the Jewish Community.

The highest degree of charity is to take hold of persons who have been crushed,… to find work for them, and thus put them on their feet that they will not be dependent on others.

The mission of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Kansas City is to promote the practice of tzedakah (charity) and the pursuit of tikkun olam (repairing the world) by serving as the advocate for planned giving and the central resource for personalized charitable funds for individuals, families, and organizations in the community.

The mission of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City is to enrich our diverse community by cultivating an inclusive environment built upon Jewish values, heritage and culture. We offer programs of excellence that enhance wellness, meaning and joy from generation to generation.

To help protect vulnerable populations in our community, a coalition of Jewish organizations in Greater Kansas City join together to demonstrate support for and promote positive relationships among our city’s diverse populations. As Jewish Voices United, we work from a position of strength to advocate for the values we hold dear.

The Midwest Center for Holocaust Education teaches the history of the Holocaust, applying its lessons to counter indifference, intolerance, and genocide.

Avodah strengthens the Jewish community’s fight against the causes and effects of poverty in the United States. We do this by engaging participants in service and community building that inspire them to become lifelong leaders for social change whose work for justice is rooted in and nourished by Jewish values.

AJC's mission is to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel, and to advance human rights and democratic values in the United States and around the world.
